Deborah Emmanuel Seah Qing En

Deborah is a Research Scientist at Plano. She received a first-class honours degree for the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Bradford. She then later obtained her Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. From a medical technologist in a cancer diagnostics laboratory to an editor for a science and technology magazine, Deborah grew to understand the importance of effective communication of evidence-based research in science and medicine to empower all people in decision making. She hopes that through reliable and evidence-based writing she can help to raise awareness of the importance of eye health and the impact an increasingly digitized world has on our eyes.
