At HCAC, they nurture talent for the global stage.
HCAC has a portfolio of programmes based on a variety of Method Acting techniques. Their international faculty of respected industry professionals are dedicated to unlocking the potential of everyone that enters their doors. The breadth and depth of the training enables individuals to discover their authenticity, express themselves and free their talent.
This workshop is for children between the ages of 8 – 12 years, specifically, kids in primary school. An interest in the performing arts would be a bonus.
While skills like singing and dancing, public speaking, and fine motor skills are embedded in our program, what makes this course unique is our focus on mindfulness of the self and the world around us. The entire course is based upon and explores a specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). This would be done indirectly through the use of stories, arts & craft activities, creative writing, and role-playing. We’re focused on developing each child’s curiosity within a safe space together with other like-minded children.
Although this course does not culminate in a performance, parents are encouraged to attend the final class for an informance to observe and share the space with the children.
