Purrven Bajjaj

Purrven is a Research Optometrist at Plano. She received her MSc in Clinical Optometry from Salus University in 2014 and was subsequently awarded the Liberty Study Award in 2015 for academic excellence and outstanding contributions to the community.. She has a decade of clinical experience from private clinics and public hospitals in Singapore. Purrven pursued her passion for academia and was an adjunct lecturer at 2 institutions offering Optometry in Singapore. She also gained experience as an Educational Optometrist at the Myopia Centre (SNEC). Purrven was the president of the Optometry Alumni at Singapore Polytechnic from 2019 to 2021 and a counsellor on the Singapore Optometric Association committee from 2017 to 2019. Purrven is passionate about education, the elimination of avoidable blindness and staying updated to advance the standard of eye care delivered to the public, all around the world. She looks forward to learning from and contributing to the eye care industry in years to come.
